To be considered under the SDG 7 Results facility, a project should:
focus on poor and vulnerable households;
focus on access to renewable energy for efficient and clean cooking for households and/or decentralised and renewably generated electricity for households;
promote access at specified minimum service levels as described in article 4.5 of the policy document for the facility: Government Gazette on SDG7;
be completed in a maximum of 4 years;
focus on one of the following countries;
be ‘additional’ to the target market and the usual business of the applicant, where ‘additionality’ concerns the extent to which the project can only be implemented when subsidised;
concern activities for which the requested grant is no lower than € 250,000 and no higher than € 2,500,000 while not exceeding 35% the project costs.
